Product/Technical Information

Nanographene-NanoPapillon®

"Nanographene" is constituted of carbon atom, and has a planar structure like honeycomb. The width and length of Nanographene are nanometer range, and has high electric-charge mobility with excellent flexibility. Therefore, it is expected to be used for a semiconductor applications, which surpasses conventional Si-based semiconductors.

<General features of Nanographene, "NanoPapillon">

  • Differ from typical Nanographene, which is made by graphene peeling method. NanoPapillon is synthesized by Annulative Pi(π) Extention (APEX*) reaction, one of the revolutionary methods in organic synthesis.
    Therefore, NanoPapillon has excellent reproducibility of physical properties in comparison to typical nanographene, and easy to customize its structure (e.g. introducing specific functional groups).
