Rubber Additives
The rubber additives of TAOKA are classified by function into “resin crosslinking agents,” “tackifiers,” and “kneading type vulcanizing adhesives.”
TACKIROL®, when used as a “resin crosslinking agent” using no sulfur, is mainly applied as a crosslinking agent for butyl rubbers and halogen butyl rubbers, and delivers excellent performance in providing the physical properties of rubber and heat resistance. It is primarily used in automobile tires.
When used as a “tackifier,” TACKIROL® is used in natural rubber and synthetic rubbers. We also offer special tackifiers for EPDM.
SUMIKANOL®, which is a “kneading type vulcanizing adhesive,” delivers an excellent performance in vulcanizing adhesion between steel and rubber.

Kneading type vulcanizing adhesives
SUMIKANOL® 610, 620
Used in combination with SUMIKANOL 507AP. They deliver excellent performance in vulcanizing adhesive between synthetic fiber for the rubber reinforcement or steel cords and rubber.
